COVID-19 Clinic Policies

Our clinic is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

● We ask all patients to wait in their cars or outside until their designated appointment time. Your provider will admit you into the building. Our waiting room is not accessible at this time.

● All patients will have their temperature assessed using a no-touch thermometer before they enter the clinic building.

● All patients are asked to wash their hands upon coming into the clinic. Restroom soap dispensers are maintained. Hand sanitizer that contains a minimum of 60% alcohol is available upon entry, and also in all treatment rooms.

● All patients are asked to bring their own mask to their appointment. Cloth face coverings are acceptable. Masks/face coverings must be worn upon entry and for the duration of your time within the clinic. My clinical colleagues and I, along with all staff, wear masks.

● Treatment rooms have been arranged for appropriate physical distancing and now contain minimal furnishings/decor to simplify sanitizing procedures.

● All providers and staff maintain safe physical distancing.

● We schedule in-person appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people within the clinic.

● Physical contact is not permitted unless your appointment warrants a physical exam or a hands-on procedural treatment. When physical contact is necessary, precautions of gloves or protective eyewear, etc. may be utilized by your provider, in addition to masks and in addition to handwashing pre and post-contact.

● Treatment areas are thoroughly disinfected between each patient encounter.

● Pens, clipboards, door handles, and other items or surfaces that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each contact.

● Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a daily basis.

● Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the beginning and end of each day.

● We require cashless transactions. Credit cards are encouraged for copays and other payments.
